Cynthia Kirchner took her modeling career into her own hands in 2002,
when after continually being asked by people to model, she got herself
to a modeling agency. From little 'ol Hazleton, PA, she instantly
caught the eye of Nous Models in Los Angeles and booked jobs for Guess and Abercrombie and Fitch within her first week. She has appeared in ads and catalogs for Neiman
Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Express, Nautica, Revlon Eyewear, Christian
Lacroix Lingerie and more. Cynthia graced the covers of Cosmopolitan
and WWD, and has even starred in music videos for Enrique Iglesias
(Don't Turn Out the Lights) and Justin Timberlake (Like I Love You).

What’s your favorite type of underwear? I absolutely love and wear boyshorts at home and when I go out. However, I need to wear thongs for shoots.
What makes you blush? Receiving compliments; I try hard not to, but I always blush....always!!
Why be a model? Because
I get to travel the world and meet new people. I live for being someone
different every time I am in front of the camera. I LOVE my job! How were you discovered? I was discovered by Kenya Knight at Nous models when I walked in to her agency for an open call.
Best modeling Job? Shooting with Steve Heitt in Paris. I love his work! Plus I got to work with horses and wear gorgeous Chanel duds.
What’s the best present you have ever received? The
book "The Complete Works of Edgar Poe" from my mom and dad when I
graduated from high school. He is my favorite author and I read the
book every night before bed.
How much of your wardrobe is freebies? 25%
Describe your personal style. Feminine chic with a hint of bohemian. Are you the kind of girl who takes a long time getting ready or can you whip up a look in a matter of minutes? I get ready in 7 minutes.
Best night out? Cannes Film Festival
Which personalities would be on your ultimate party guest list? Michael
Jackson, Little Richard and Elton John. They all have huge
personalities and I would love to see them all in the same room.
If you were an animal what would you be? I would love to be a unicorn. They are so graceful and they live in the "Mystical Forest".
What is your guilty pleasure? Ben and Jerry's "Cherry Garcia" ice cream
How do you stay young? A
healthy diet and a good skin care regime. I eat a protein rich diet
with lots of raw foods like sushi, veggies and carpaccio. However, I
don't neglect carbs...I believe everything in moderation is ideal. For
my skin I make sure to cleanse, tone and moisturize daily and exfoliate
every 2-3 days. I tend to use products from France and Switzerland like
Sisley and Mavala, but I use Oil of Olay as an alternative. For my
hair, I wash it every other day and use protective conditioners from
Kerastase.
Is it true blondes have more fun? I definitely feel I have a lot of fun, but my brunette girlfriends aren't complaining about not getting enough.
What do you enjoy that isn’t glamorous or luxurious? Playing trivia games.
What is the best thing a friend has done for you? Just being my friend....truly.
Where do you see yourself in ten years? I see myself still in the spotlight with a wonderful husband and two children.
Planning on putting your kid on the catwalk? I probably won't let my child on the catwalk until they are finished with school.
What do you think of the current media debate about models being too skinny? I
think there are some models that are too skinny, just as there are
non-models that are too skinny. However, I know a lot of beautiful,
healthy looking models.
If you had to choose between love and independence, which would it be? Without
hesitation, independence. No matter how much of a romantic I think I
am, I would be very sad if my independence was hindered.
Pretend it's your birthday, blow out the candles and make a wish! I wish for a long, healthy and happy life with lots of great memories.
Who is the sexiest person that ever lived? It may sound predictable, but I love Brad Pitt.
What turns you on? Intelligence
How old were you when you had your first kiss? 16 years old.
What makes you smile? Seeing others happy.
Is Madonna a hero or a villain? Hero, she has and continues to reinvent herself...she is very admirable.
What's your hidden talent? I can make homemade bread and jelly.
